Charley 06/29/04

Hope you are all doing well. We are feeling extremely blessed, but
also very tired. We got the construction loan to build our house and I have
been working with the construction crew for the past three weeks while Bev
has been keeping track of expenditures and chasing materials to keep us
working. We now have all of the exterior walls up and one interior wall.
We have been working 9 1/2 to 13 hours a day, six days a week. Larry Hill (
a good friend) is supervising the project and says he plans to have the
house 100% complete by the time we have to go back to school! We hope he
makes it.
Rocky and Keri are coming up here for a four day week-end July 1-4, and
Travis, Kristi, and their two boys are moving up here and plan to be here
July 2nd. Travis is going to join the construction crew until our house is
finished and then hopes to find permanent employment in the construction
field in this area. (There are a lot of homes being built in this area.)
We are not going to be going to the lower 48 for a vacation this
summer. Bevb saw her mother in May when she went to Rocky's graduation to
see himn get his master's degree and I saw my mother when I went to Uncle
Bernard's funeral. Now we feel like we need to stay here and get our home
built. We are sorry we can't see all of you this summer, but God willing,
there will be another chance next year. Take care. - Charley
